NECROLOGIES AND MEMORIALS

The Proceedings often contained memorials and necrologies for prominent members of the Craft. In earlier years, these generally took the form of memorial resolutions and notes of the death and funeral of the Brother, but sometimes there were extensive memorials presented by a member of the Grand Lodge.

Beginning in 1950, memorials were restricted to a small number of individuals, with the majority of deaths reported only with the "sacred scroll". These are indicated by "Necrology" below.
