- I-192: "Enquiry was made, why the Committee long since appointed to Adjust the Accounts of this Lodge with the Rt. Worshipful Bror. Rowe late Treasurer had not complyed with the Vote for that purpose; Reply was made, that they were possessed of no necessary Papers to enable them to effect a Settlement with Bro. Rowe. Upon which the Grand Secretary was directed to furnish said Committee with such Papers as would enable them to make an equitable Adjustment of said Accounts, and ascertain the exact Balance in Bror. Rowes hands, and make Report at the next Quarterly Communication."

Church and Bro. Prince be a Committee for that purpose and make report the next Quarterly Communication. Upon a Motion made in this Grand Lodge, that whereas upon inspection of the late Grand Treasurers Accounts which were never brought to an Adjustment before this Time, we find that no Charge is made for any Gratuity to our Revd Brother Edward Bass, for the Expence of his Journey to Boston, and his excellent and brotherly Labours in studying and delivering a Sermon to the Fraternity at the Instalment of the Grand Master in the Year 1768. Wherefore VOTED, that the Grand Secretary be desired to write a handsome Apology to the said Revd Brother with a Copy of this Vote, and that the Sum of Six Guineas be forthwith sent to him in consideration of the Services aforesaid."
