BIOGRAPHY

From Missouri Lodge of Research:

Rocky Weaver was born in Kansas City, Missouri November 12, 1948, first of four boys born to William Junior and Maude Esther Weaver. He was educated in the North Kansas City School system graduating from high school in 1967. He attended two years at Maple Woods Community College. He was employed by Ford Motor Company in Claycomo, Missouri for over 32 years and retired in 2001.

In 1997 Rocky and his late wife, Judy, started a small embroidery business which he continued to operate our of his home. Rocky last Judy to a brain tumor on August 30, 2001. They had one son, Bradley James and four grandchildren. As another chapter of his life unfolds, he wed Ms Janet Berwald of Lyndhurst, Ohio on November 15, 2002.

Rocky served two years in the United States Army and attended Aviation Maintenance School at Fort Eustice, Virginia. He was then sent to NCO training school where he attained the rank of E5.

Brother Weaver was initiated in Liberty Lodge No 31 in 1983 and served as Master in 1993. He is a member of the Missouri Lodge of Research, Grand Representative to Ohio and was appointed Senior Grand Marshal by Grand Master Means. He was installed Grand Master in 2008.

Rocky is a past High Priest of Liberty Chapter No 3 RAM, past Illustrious Master of Liberty Council No 50 R&SM and past Eminent Commander of Liberty Commandery No 5 KT. In 1994 he was awarded the Lewis and Clark Award by the Grand Commandery. He also belongs to the York Rite Bodies at Independence, Missouri and Ascalon Commandery No 16, St Louis, Missouri.

He was elected to the advancing line of the Grand Commandery KT in 1994 and was elected and installed Right Eminent Grand Commander of Knights Templar of the State of Missouri on May 21, 2000.

Brother Weaver is a charter member of the Harry S Truman York Rite College and a recipient of the York Rite College of North America, Order of the Purple Cross. He is a past Sovereign Master of Kilwinning Council Allied Masonic Degrees, a member of Ararat Shrine and Mary Conclave Red Cross of Constantine.

He belongs to the Scottish Rite, Valley of Kansas City and past President of the Kansas City Chapter No 63, National Sojourners, Hero's of 76 and the Holy Royal Arch Knight Templar Priests.
