This list is based on the O.P. for 1849 (see above).
- Social Harmony is listed in the O.P., but its charter was not restored until 1856.
- District 10 was created this year (for Nantucket), but does not appear in the O.P. list. (Union ihas been placed there.)
- Mount Pleasant Lodge does not appear in the O.P. but does in later years such as 1852. It has been excluded here.
- Chicopee Lodge is listed as U.D. in the pages above, but it received its Charter in 1849.
