- 04/25/1879: 1879-31; Milford. A ceremony to dedicate the new Masonic apartments of Montgomery Lodge. Many local lodges were represented, "the attendance being very large."
- 06/11/1879: 1879-33; Masonic Temple, Boston. A meeting (preceding the June Quarterly Communication) to discuss the report of the Committee on the Financial Condition of the Grand Lodge. A recommendation was offered for a capitation tax at $1/year for each affiliated Mason for 15 years to retire the debt. (Approved later in the day by vote.)
