Meeting held at Boston (Ch1-678):
Grand Chapter opened.
- Finance.
- Petition from St. John's Chapter in East Boston for a charter; granted.
Address by the retiring Grand High Priest, M. E. Stephen Lovell, beginning on Page ChI-681.
The meeting elected the officers for the Grand Royal Arch Chapter for the ensuing year, with R. E. Daniel Harwood elected Grand High Priest; other officers elected and appointed as noted on Pages ChI-687 and ChI-693.

Grand Chapter opened.
A petition for the Chapter of the Shekinah in Chelsea was granted a dispensation.
"The subject of authorizing the Grand Lecturer to visit" Chapters and was discussed and referred to the Council of the Grand Chapter.
It was voted that Chapters would be required henceforth to submit a Return of Officers.

A circular from the Grand Chapter of Mississippi "recommending the procuring of Masonic statistics" was read and referred to committee.

It was reported that copies of the Grand Constitutions had been printed and were being distributed to the Chapters.
A petition for "Oriental" Chapter in Hyannis was rejected as "not in conformity with the Regulations." (ChI-699)
A circular from the Grand Chapter of Maine regarding "International Masonic Correspondence" was received and referred to committee.
