ANNUAL SESSION, 09/07/1852
Meeting held at Boston (Ch1-623):
Grand Chapter opened.
- Finance.
- The meeting elected the officers for the Grand Royal Arch Chapter for the ensuing year, with R. E. Stephen Lovell elected Grand High Priest; other officers elected and appointed as noted on Pages ChI-625 and ChI-629.
- A new charter for Washington Chapter of Salem was issued; text of the charter appears on Page ChI-626.
STATED MEETING, 12/07/1852
Held at Mason's Hall, Boston (ChI-627):
Grand Chapter opened.
- A committee reported that money and documents for the Grand Treasurer had been transferred to the new holder of that office.
- The committee on regalia reported that some items had been sold, and that the committee was authorized to procure three sashes.
- Installation of Grand Officers.
A return to the General Grand Royal Arch Chapter appears on Page ChI-630.
STATED MEETING, 03/08/1853

Grand Chapter opened.
- The committee on regalia reported on the acquisition of certain items.
- A petition from former members of Franklin Chapter of Greenfield to restore its charter was received and approved. The endorsement on the charter is listed on Page ChI-634.
- Washington Chapter of Salem was granted the use of regalia of the former Chapter in Marblehead.
STATED MEETING, 06/07/1853
Held at Mason's Hall, Boston (ChI-634):
Grand Chapter opened.
- A St. John's Day invitation to Worcester was received and accepted.
- Grand Chapter's September meeting was postponed to October to accommodate the meeting of the General Grand Royal Arch Chapter.
- Franklin Chapter of Greenfield was granted use of the regalia formerly belonging to the Chapter in Groton.
