ANNUAL SESSION, 09/13/1842
Meeting held at Boston (ChI-494):
Grand Chapter opened.
- Finance, including notes on the delinquency of St. John's, Groton, Sutton and Adoniram Chapters. The Grand Chapter voted to take action on these delinquencies.
- The following Chapters were voted to have their charters revoked:
- Morning Star
- Brookfield
- King Solomon's Note: this charter was revoked 09/08/1840
- Mount Lebanon
The meeting elected the officers for the Grand Royal Arch Chapter for the ensuing year, with R. E. Elijah Atherton re-elected Grand High Priest; other officers elected and appointed as noted on Pages ChI-497 and ChI-498.
STATED MEETING, 03/07/1843
Held at Mason's Hall, Boston (ChI-502):
Grand Chapter opened.
- An extensive report on St. John's Chapter was presented, beginning on Page ChI-503.
- A proposed revision to Article IX of the Regulations, regarding Suspensions and Expulsions.
- The Grand Secretary was "requested to examine the records and ascertain when the time was altered for candidates to stand proposed for the degrees in Subordinate Chapters."

Grand Chapter opened.
- The Grand Chapter voted to confirm the doings of St. Andrew's Chapter on the expulsion of Companion Theodore A. Dame, for being guilty of gross, immoral and unmasonic conduct, of a nature such as to destroy the respectability of his character as a citizen . . .
- It was voted to revoke the charter of St. John's Chapter.
