Grand Constitutions Amendment Proposals

  • 03/11: 1953-41ff; A large set of amendments proposed to the Grand Constitutions "to integrate with the Constitutions the accumulated rulings, directives, and interpretations of the Grand Masters, so that there may be available to the Craft one body of Masonic Law" and to "clarify ambiguities, to consolidate or coordinate germane sections, or to harmonize the law with current practice." Note: these changes were incorporated into the 1953 edition of the Grand Constitutions.
    • 06/10: 1953-197: Approved, with slight changes. The Grand Secretary was directed to prepare a revised edition of the Constitutions and Regulations for publication.
