  • 1898-21: The Grand Master made a verbal report regarding the progress on the new Temple.
  • 1898-21: A circular had recently appeared among the lodges advertising an antiquated cipher published in New York; it is referred to as a "worthless, catch-penny affair" with 700-800 variations from true work. The Recording Grand Secretary pointed to the resolution from December 1894 condeming such ciphers.

  • 1898-47: Termination of relations with the Grand Lodge of Peru, after the Grand Master of Peru ordered in June 1897 that the Bible be replaced on the altar and in the ritual with the Constitutions of the Grand Lodge of Peru.
