LODGE IN GILBERTVILLE

Location: Hardwick

Dispensation presented to: Prince, Fall 1920 or never presented.

Current Status: dispensation declined or withdrawn.


LODGE IN GILBERTVILLE

Gilbertville is an unincorporated village of the town of Hardwick, MA. Some time in October, 1920, a group of Brethren composed a petition for a lodge there, but we are not in possession of the petition. There is an extant letter from Eden Lodge dated 10/12/1920 approving the petition.


EXTRACT FROM MINUTES OF EDEN LODGE

Regular Communication of Eden Lodge October 4th, 1920 as follows:

Communication from a number (41) Master Masons of Gilbertville asking this Lodge to recommend that the petition for a Charter for a Masonic Lodge in Gilbertville be granted. Voted to recommend the same to Grand Lodge.
