Grand Chapter opened.
- Report on regalia to be lent to Franklin Chapter of Greenfield.
Adjourned to 10/11/1853.
- Remarks on the meeting of the General Grand Chapter.
- Finance.
- The meeting elected the officers for the Grand Royal Arch Chapter for the ensuing year, with R. E. Stephen Lovell re-elected Grand High Priest; other officers elected and appointed as noted on Pages ChI-640 and ChI-643.
- The 5th Article of the Grand Regulations was voted to be repealed.

Held at Mason's Hall, Boston (ChI-641):
- Washington Chapter reported the recovery of its original charter.
- Northampton Chapter was reported to have made no return and paid no dues; referred to committee.
- The Grand Secretary was directed to write to King Cyrus Chapter to request payment of its dues.
- Installation.
- The death of former Grand High Priest Daniel Gibbens was reported. A committee was appointed to draft resolutions of sympathy.
