  • 1884-32: Report on the petition to assign Dorchester to Union Lodge. When Dorchester and Roxbury were united with Boston, lodges located there were given Boston jurisdiction. In 1873 the Grand Lodge postponed indefinitely a resolution that "no changes by the Legislature of the Communowealth of Municipal Corporations, or the boundaries of the territory thereof, shall be held to affect in any way the jurisdiction of Lodges." Union Lodge is allowed to consider giving up its Boston jurisdiction if it wants Dorchester only. Ordered to be printed.
    • 06/11: 1884-78; not granted.
