''At the beginning of 1837 Grand Master [http://masonicgenealogy.com/MediaWiki/index.php?title=GMFlint Flint] appointed District Deputy Grand Masters for Districts 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, and 7, and a Special Agent for District 9. District 3 (Cambridge area) had no District Deputy appointed, but the district clearly still existed. An attempt has been made to reorganize the lodges into these districts, but this is entirely speculative.''

''Note: This is '''extremely''' conjectural, and based in part on the locations of the appointed Deputies.''

''When more information is available, the lodge pages will be updated with district information.''
