He was Chairman of the Credentials Committee, and was reappointed Senior Grand Deacon in 1878, both years representing Perseverance Lodge No. 92, of Louisiana, Missouri. At the session of 1878 he was Chairman of Committee on Accounts. He was elected Junior Grand Warden 1880, Senior Grand Warden in 1881, Deputy Grand Master in 1882, and Most Worshipful Grand Master in 1883. In 1884 he was appointed Chairman of Committee on Chartered Lodges, which he held until his death.

Most Worshipful Brother Lee A. Hall represented Clarksville Lodge No. 17, as its Master in the Grand Lodge at the Annual Communication of 1874. He was appointed Junior Grand Deacon in 1876, from Clarksville. In 1877 he received the appointment of Senior Grand Deacon, from Louisiana. Brother Hall was horn in Warren County, Ohio, November 26, 1832. The family removed to Missouri in May, 1840, landing in St. Louis, where he resided, with the exception of a few years. He adopted the law as a profession, but followed business pursuits for many years.

He was made a Mason in George Washington Lodge No. 9, in St. Louis, April 25, 1854. While living in Illinois, in 1867, he affiliated with and was elected Master of Staunton Lodge No. 177, at Staunton. Later he moved to Clarksville, Missouri, and affiliated with Clarksville Lodge No. 17, and served as Master. Changing his residence to Louisiana, Missouri, he there became a member and was elected Master of Perseverance Lodge No. 92.

During his residence in Pike County he served five consecutive years as District Deputy Grand Master of the District composed of Pike, Ralls and Monroe Counties. On his return to St. Louis he affiliated with his mother Lodge, George Washington No. 9. As Committee on Chartered Lodges, in the Grand Lodge, he gave much time, and the service rendered was of great value.

Brother Hall was exalted November 26, 1854, in St. Louis Royal Arch Chapter No. 8. He dimitted in 1887 and affiliated with Bond Royal Arch Chapter No. 23, at Louisiana, Missouri, and served as Excellent High Priest. April 6, 1894, he affiliated with St. Louis R. A. Chapter. In the Grand Chapter of Missouri Royal Arch Masons he was started in office by appointment as Grand Captain of the Host in 1881; elected Grand Scribe in 1882, Grand King in 1883, Deputy Grand High Priest in 1884, and Most Excellent Grand High Priest in 188..i. In the Order of High Priesthood, of which he became a member October 9, 1878, he served as Excellent Chaplain from 1884 to 1895, inclusive. He passed the Circle in St. Louis Council Royal and Select Masters, October 17, 1863. That Council consolidating with Hiram No. 10, under name of Hiram No. 1, he was elected Thrice Illustrious Master in 1884. He was created a Knight Templar in St. Louis Commandery No. 1, March 16, 18H3.

Brother Hall died in St. Louis December 15, 1899. His funeral, Sunday, December 17, was conducted by the Grand Lodge, his Lodge, George Washington No. 9, attending, escorted by St. Louis Commandery No. 1, assisted by Ascalon No. 16.
