DISTRICT DEPUTY GRAND MASTERS
No District Deputy appointed 1843, 1845.
- Gardner Ruggles, 1835-1842. Raised in Mount Zion Lodge, 1818. Master eight times between 1823 and 1849. Also acted as Special Deputy for the 9th District until 1842.
- Pliny Slocomb, 1844, 1846. Raised in Olive Branch Lodge, 1815.
- Horace Chenery, 1847-1848. (1796-1863) A member of Morning Star Lodge under its second charter; born in Medfield, resident in Northfield during his term (which lasted through 1856).
