W. Paul Revere. There are many stories of and about him. one of the more interesting is the story of his election. Warren declined the office and on a second ballot Revere was chosen. Interestingly enough he was not even at the meeting and a delegation of three men were sent to his house to "Wait on Bro. P. We, here at the Grand Lodge Museum, have several pieces made by Revere. The golden urn, possibly one of the last pieces he made in his career as a goldsmith, houses a lock of hair from George Washington sent to the Grand Lodge by his widow, Martha. This urn is carried at the Feast of St. John on December 27th to lead the procession at the Installation of the new Grand Master every third year.</ins></div></td></tr>
