LIST OF LODGES BY DISTRICT (with date of precedence): 1839
At the beginning of 1837 Grand Master Flint appointed District Deputy Grand Masters for Districts 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, and 7, and a Special Agent for District 9. District 3 (Cambridge area) had no District Deputy appointed, but the district clearly still existed. An attempt has been made to reorganize the lodges into these districts, but this is entirely speculative.
When more information is available, the lodge pages will be updated with district information.
